About the Mini Cooper
The Mini Cooper is a legendary hatch that has, among its feats, featured in pop culture movies and won famous rallies since it was first revealed in 1959.
Famous for its small stature and remarkable interior packaging, the original Mini Cooper is often considered one of the most iconic cars of all time.
The model was revived in 2001 by BMW, emerging as a noticeably larger model and forming a modern-day Mini brand.
The current, third-generation version has been around since 2014, with a fourth iteration expected in either 2023 or 2024.
Currently, the Mini Cooper can be purchased in either three- or five-door body designs, as well as a convertible, and is classified as a small hatch. A range of petrol combustion engines are offered for the Mini Cooper in Australia, as well as a fully electric variant badged the SE.
